I really liked the color palette and the wall-climbing. Especially the way you fling yourself forward when climbing over a wall. That was satisfying! I got stuck in a couple of parts including getting stuck off screen at the end of the first level (trying to go over the wall instead of under it.
I think it could stand to have the speed turned up a notch, but still fun all the while.
I'm really glad you liked it! I did notice what you mentioned about the first level :( We'll fix most of the issues people have pointed out in a future patch. Right now, we're working on expanding it into a bigger project, so if you enjoyed it, stay tuned!
I liked the game a lot. Apart from the platforming stuff, you have implemented a more than an adequate crawling mechanism on yellow(gooey substances) and also the air bubble pushing the player to certain directions. The music gets in the way, pounding harder in your ears than needed, perhaps a volume control to control the Music volume would be cool. Overall a nice looking game. Keep up the good work .
[Just a query, have you used "Godot" to make this game?]
[If you have completed this game in Godot, then you should export your game in HTML5 as well in a separate folder and make sure that the .html file is named "index.html" and not "<game_name>.html" Once it is exported in a folder, zip that folder by right clicking that and choosing "Send To > Compressed (zipped) folder". Once the zip file has been created, upload that to itch.io and check the option "This file will be played in the Browser" and set the "Viewport dimensions" to the dimensions you have set for the game. Additionally you can check the "Mobile friendly" and the "Fullscreen button " options to get your game working in the browser as well. Instead of the "Infex" image shown currently, your web version of the game would be shown here to play with a "Run Game" button in the middle. Also add at least 3 screenshots of your game, as visually its quite good and you should add them as well.]
Thank you very much, Falconovag! I'm glad you enjoyed the game. Indeed, we made it in Godot. It was quite late in our country when we uploaded it, so we still have to improve the game page today.
Your feedback is really helpful, and I’ll definitely consider adding an audio controller. This was actually my first project and my first game jam, so I’m really happy with how it turned out. I'm excited to keep learning and releasing more games in the future, and I hope you'll stick around if you liked this one. Also, we're adding the option to play in browser later today!
Sure, thanks. I had some trouble in the jam uploading the html version of the game, so I shared the process with you. Best of Luck :)
I am glad that you have provided a volume control and the Page is now looking pro level and elegant and also the web version has been added as well and working. Keep it up. Amazing work :)
